Mars Informatics Inc. is a non-profit corporation dedicated to providing greater access to information and tools. The company was founded in 2001 by David A. Paige and Sorel T. Fitz-Gibbon. Current projects include:

• The Mars Journal - A NASA-funded open access, peer-reviewed online journal for Mars science, technology and policy.
  
• Bioinformatics research in support of large scale DNA sequencing projects.
