Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all information provided to Mars Informatics Open Access Journals will be handled in a secure and confidential manner.
Registration
Registration is required for authors and reviewers to facilitate communication. Registration information will not be published, distributed or sold. Consistent with the spirit of open access publishing, registration is not required for full text access to published papers. Registered users may update their registration information and notification preferences at any time.
E-Mail Updates
Registered users will be notified via e-mail regarding newly published papers or newly launched journals if they explicitly request these notifications in their registration preferences.
Papers
Papers will be submitted, sent to reviewers, revised, and edited through password protected, secure server connections.
Consistent with established standards for scholarly journals, unpublished papers will be handled by editors and reviewers with strict confidentiality. With the exception of prospective reviewers, Mars Informatics Open Access Journals will not contact anyone regarding any aspect of an unpublished paper without the authors' explicit permission.
Web Browsing
Consistent with the spirit of open access publishing, Mars Informatics Open Access Journals encourages access to its web content by individual web users and by web crawling robots. No published material is password protected, user inputs on public pages are not tracked, and "cookies" are not implemented.
